It is hard to forgive someone who has hurt you or abused you. If you don't forgive them then it will eat at your soul and make you miserable. I know that with God's help you can forgive someone who has hurt you. It takes a long time but you will feels relieved when you finally forgive. Forgiving a person doesn't mean you have to like what they did or said but that you ate getting that burden off yourchest. I had to forgive my ex husband for all the abuse that was done to me and it took me a long time but I finally put in God's hands and did a lot of praying and pondering the scriptures but I eventually forgave him and when I did I felt so relieved and a weight was taken off my shoulder. I also realized that he wanted me to feel miserable and I wasn't going to let him win. I am much happier now and am living my life doing the things that I love such as crafting and going to Church and volunteering.
It wasn't easy bit I did it and am grateful that I did. I have been blessed in many ways since I forgave him.
