Today we'd like to introduce you to a very special boy named Baxter.
Baxter belongs to a dear friend of ours, and like so many beloved family pets, he has been facing a difficult journey. He developed a cancerous growth between his front legs that had grown to about the size of a grapefruit.
Watching someone you love struggle is never easy especially when they can't tell you how they're feeling.
When we began making our all natural turmeric biscuits, we asked our friend Les if Baxter would like to try them. We simply hoped he'd enjoy the treats and that the turmeric might offer some added wellness support.
After a few days, Les noticed something encouraging. The growth appeared to be getting smaller.
Fast forward to today, and Baxter's tumour has reduced to about the size of an apple roughly half of what it was. Even more heartwarming than the change in size is seeing Baxter getting back to being Baxter. ❤️
He's jumping up on the couch again. He's enjoying walks around the acreage. He's moving more comfortably and doing many of the things he used to love.
Seeing that spark return has meant the world to everyone who loves him.
While every dog is different and we can't promise the same results for every pet, stories like Baxter's remind us why we're so passionate about creating wholesome treats made with carefully selected ingredients.
