Asccoa Woodworking Inc. We craft wood furniture, plaques, and have the ability to laser cut custom shapes and engraving.

We are a custom Laser cutting and engraving company, located in Calgary, Alberta. We are capable of cutting shapes out of most materials for hobbyists and we fabricate real wood products; from picture frames to furniture, Acrylic products from picture stands to speciality frames. Asccoa is able to engrave items, from plastics to wood and most items in between, such as lamicoid, acrylic, anodized aluminum, paper, cardboard, glass and mirrors, plus many other items.

Currently adding a Wooden Wine Gift Box with a front sliding cover to our collection. Wine gift boxes are customizable and available in various materials. These gift boxes are made from standard plywood and may have minor inclusions and small voids in the edges, these are normal for this wood product, and all items are sold as is with these minor defects or inclusions.
This standard oak plywood gift box is available for $28.50 plus shipping and GST.
Overall dimensions (approximately) - 4-1/4" x 4-1/2" x 15" capable of holding most 1.5 l bottles.

Our Story

The meaning behind the name was simple for us, it is an acronym for A Small Company Capable Of Anything, it portrays our Love for family, responsibility for our community, and the ability to tackle any job that comes our way. We may not always be able to fulfill the job, but we will do everything to help facilitate it.

I have been involved in woodworking since an early age, mainly as a hobby which I acquired from my father. While most of the family followed the hobby interest, I added woodworking as a family business venture. I wanted to do something I enjoy and I just want people to enjoy what they purchase.

With Susan by my side supporting my business ventures (this is not the first), Susan always allowed me to pursue my dreams. This has paid off as it allowed me to spend time with family as needed and still earn a living. It has been over 25 years since my first business venture, (this is only my third) all which have been successful, thanks to Susan and my family always at my side helping when needed and supportive. So when I said, you know I won’t be able to do this job much longer due to my age and the toll it was taking on my body. I think I should look at a laser for small projects that I can do and reduce the wear and tear on my body and be able to do something I love, she said go for it! Man I love that lady!

So here we are, a custom woodworking company located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Our CO2 laser has taken us beyond just woodworking, we now have speciality cutting and engraving capability of various materials.
