As card makers, some days the mojo just isn’t there. What about having a tag ‘library’ with the techniques and instructions to jump start those low mojo days? That’s what this hop is all! If that sounds good and you want to join us, please dm or . This month, we will be showcasing WAXED PAPER TECHNIQUES inspired by
The June bonus option of WAYS TO ADD SPLATTER technique. Inspired by .nelson.art and to name but a few

I’ve used two different Wax paper methods for these cards. The main card uses a 3D embossing folder to make the patterned then ironed between two pieces of cardstock for the transfer and then inked up. One made a card and one made the tag.
The 2nd method uses crinkled up waxed paper that is then ironed between two pieces of paper to transfer. I went with the tone on tone splatter look using the same ink colours for blending as splatter. Then white splatter medium over both panels for some extra pop.

Welcome to the hop! We challenge you to use leftover die cuts, sentiments, and cardstock to create Artist Trading Cards (ATC). You can send them in happy mail, save them on a ring to highlight your favorite creations, swap them with friends, leave them on a co-worker’s desk, or add sweet notes to a lunchbox.

Join us if you like; the only rules are to use scraps and create cards measuring 2.5” x 3.5”. We share our little snippets of happiness on the third Tuesday of the month at 8 AM Eastern. Message , , or if you would like to be added to the Hop List.

The colour for this month is ORANGE. We also have an extra credit challenge: to incorporate some sort of food/drink in our designs.

Orange is a tough colour for me but I’m really happy with how this one turned out! I used a lovely layering stencil and inked it up with soft orange tones. A simple thanks for the sentiment so that the floral is the star of the card

I do love a floral card and is one of my fav companies for fabulous florals! I used one of my many Craft Your Life kits for the floral and sentiment and an embossed background from my bin. I added some Distress Mica splatter for purple shine and stacked up the sentiment for dimension
