I have crossed timelines, I have walked the labyrinth, I have fallen to my knees in front of a 1000 year old Mother tree, I have met myself at the crossroads and heard the call of the Rose Lineage, i have been anointed in the oils of the blessed rose, I dreamt that I was initiated and then I was standing in front of the altar claiming my place as Priestess of the Rose. I revealed myself to Inanna and remembered that I am HER. I am the rose. I am the void. I am softness and vastness and rage and beheld. I am Divine and Goddess and a beautiful light soul. I am human and blessed and loved and have everything, everything I dream of in the rose of my heart.

As I picked this basket of roses from the front garden this morning, I decided to follow the synchronicities that were unfolding in front of me over the last two days and booked a solo retreat away on Bowen Island for my birthday weekend (May 28th - June 1) that will take me deeply into the heart of Rose Medicine 🌹 to rest, rejuvenate, be held in sacred divine feminine love and ceremony. To celebrate, unwind, release and fully immerse myself into the heart, into my heart. So that I can enter my next chapter, open, in love, and devotion ❤️

A question I am asked a lot is “What can I do to honour The Great Mother? What offering can I leave?”

And honestly, the greatest offering you can make, the most honourable thing you can do: is pick up garbage in Nature. Do not pass it by. Leave the forest better than when you came. Pack out EVERYTHING you bring.

Honour The Great Mother by changing how you make waste. Stop using balloons as decor. Use a reusable water bottle. Ride your bike instead of driving your car.

Mother’s Day is tears in the French toast
It is a lump in your throat as you force a smile
It is deep breathing in the shower as you face another day trying your damn hardest to do it all
It is a sweet voice message from a dear friend reminding you that you are worthy
That you are loved
That you are sweet and kind and wise
That you deserve the life you desire
It is sunshine on the patio while the kids stuff their faces with sticky fingers and jam filled smiles
It is dishes clinking in the sink as they do the breakfast clean up
It is a good book before going into the garden
It is the memory of a Mother’s Day 19 years ago when your first son was born
The one who missed dinner last night and ignored all your texts
Mother’s Day is a holiday that should never have been
Because still to this day most Mothers are unseen.
So I’m sending a blessing from my mothers heart to yours,
I see you and I hear you.
And you deserve so much more ❤️
