Thinking Outside The Box repurposing reclaimed items - creating unique stuff!

Several years ago my husband and I, both avid yard sale, auction and flea market attendees, had a basement full of bits and bobs we’d collected. Faced with doing something with this stuff or biffing it, we chose the former and our home decor and personal accessories craft business was born. Every item we produce has components that are found or reclaimed; components that are used in ways other tha

n originally intended. As what we create is dependent upon what we find, and then dependent upon what we figure out to do with what we've found, the handcrafts are often one-of-a-kind.

Just two days till we honour our mom-person(s). 'Course, we do so every day, all year long - right?! - but we make a bit of a to-do on Mother's Day - right?!

Mothers are the jewels of our families. TOTB doesn't craft much in the way of jewelry but we do have a few sparkly items on hand at Copper Collective that may put a sparkle in Mom's eyes.

If your mom is a great baker, this Sunday she may appreciate receiving one of these upcycled/vintage items instead of a cake or sweets. The latter are enjoyed for a short time; the former can be enjoyed for years to come.
