Behind every piece I create is a story that started long before me.
Reclaimed wood, reimagined into something new, this is my version of eco-friendly!

I know I’m a couple days late but Happy Earth Day! 🌎🍃

Any guesses how many pieces were cut, shaped, sanded, painted, sanded again, painted again…? (Keep reading) ⬇️

My inspiration for “Love is Universal” actually came from the Project Hail Mary movie. Not only were the visuals stunning, but the inspiring story of unlikely friendship, collaboration, and the power of empathy has stayed with me long after I left the theatre.

It’s a reminder that even as tiny beings in a vast universe, connection is still possible, no matter our distance or our differences. If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommended it!

This artwork is one of my pieces that is heading to Tiny Ass Art Gallery, opening on April 30th in St. Jacobs, Ontario.

Oh, and there are 259 tiny pieces in this particular universe! Were you close?

Little pieces quietly finding their place, like inside a chrysalis, where the smallest parts come together to form something extraordinary.

“Delicate Strength” will soon make its way to in St. Jacobs when it opens on April 30th. Hope to see you there!

True story! When I first got asked to make tiny art for the Tiny Ass Art Gallery, I really didn’t imagine how I would make art that small, given I create with wood and large power tools.

Well, I’ve been having a lot of fun experimenting and finding new ways to create abstract art with reclaimed wood, in a tiny format. It’s a change from my geometric wood mosaics (which I still love, btw) but it’s really sparked my creativity!

I hope you love it too and come visit our Tiny Ass Gallery when it opens soon in St. Jacobs, Ontario!

A little handful of love, just in case you need it today 🤍

These tiny hearts are getting added to the artwork they were meant for that will be headed to , opening on April 30!

It’s got me wondering if these tiny treasures could be just as meaningful on their own.

I think these could make the most thoughtful gifts. Little “Pocket Hearts” you could gift, carry, or pass along to someone who could use a smile.

What do you think? Could it be the beginning of a collection?

The world needs more hearts, so I’m making some!

I’ve spent the last couple of days cutting these hearts with my scroll saw out of some reclaimed basswood, given to me by a friend.

After hours of carving and sanding they are almost ready to paint! I’m still deciding on the colours but I know I want these hearts to be bright and happy.

These tiny hearts are part of a piece I’m working on for Tiny Ass Art Gallery, opening on April 30th in St. Jacobs. This is such a unique gallery with so many talented artists. I’m still pinching myself that I get to be a part of it!

The world feels heavy and my brain gets loud, but creating is where I find my version of quiet.

It’s where my busy hands drown out the overthinking and, although my tools are far from quiet, I feel silence in my shop, in every way that matters.

I know I’m lucky to have discovered my happy place. I hope you’ve found yours too. Please share if you have your own version of quiet! ❤️

My tools are shrinking… and so is my art.

You may have noticed my art has looked a little different lately. That’s because I’ve been experimenting with everything tiny to prepare for the launch of Tiny Ass Art Gallery.

Working at this scale means making some changes:
Tiny blades.
Tiny sanding bits.
Tiny brushes.
Very tiny pieces of reclaimed wood.

Turns out making art this small requires some practice, a lot of patience… and a very steady hand.

But I’m loving the challenge of creating pieces that are only a few inches wide and still full of movement, colour, and texture.

Welcome to my tiny art era.

Stay tuned — there’s a whole collection of tiny pieces on the way. And don’t worry, I’m still excited about making giant pieces too!

Be sure to give a follow. We’ve got lots of exciting things coming up!

2025 felt different.

I spent more time behind the scenes trying to build my business. I tried more things before I felt ready. Some ideas worked, some really didn’t.

I built a website, hosted a pop-up shop with my dad, learned new tools, got more confident with pricing, and stayed open to change when it showed up.

None of it was perfect, but all of it moved me forward.

I’m feeling refreshed and excited to be taking these lessons into 2026. I do see some pivots in the new year but also still have a love for the art I’ve been creating.

Let’s see where this new year takes us - together. Thanks for being here!
