It’s the start of new year and every home magazine is offering the latest “decorating trend” advice. One of the most trend worthy elements being paint colour. This year’s trend is leaning towards subdued browns with an undertone of purple. Deeper moody colours are replacing neutral grey.
Introducing a new colour can be an exciting and relatively quick way to incorporate the latest trend but following the latest trend can also be tricky.
Ask yourself if you will like this colour in 2 years? Can you make your existing furnishings work with a new colour? Will some of your items also need to be replaced? What is the budget?
