I have lived on both Coasts of this country of ours. Back in the 80's I lived on Vancouver Island. On that beautiful island is Mystic Beach, my original painting of was chosen to be part of a sale held by the National Gallery in order to raise funds for children's programs. This painting depicts a couple going for a "Beach Walk". It was hand painted by Doug Wilkie at Outta Town Arts in Georgetown on a 16x20" stretched canvas.

They stand in, near and just outside harbours all over PEI year round. Lighting the way to safety for all out on the water. This lighthouse stands looking out over a harbour, next to a small inlet. "Spring Watch" is a 16 x 20" hand painted stretched canvas by Doug WIlkie of Outta Town Arts.
