A collaboration we’re proud of!

We recently completed this custom walnut bench for the reception area at Canam in Mississauga.

Designed to make a statement from the moment you walk through the front doors, this piece features a custom steel base inspired by a structural steel joist. Canam Group expertly designed and fabricated the base, while we handcrafted the walnut top and applied a black finish to complement the walnut and complete the project.

Most furniture today is designed to be replaced. This maple sideboard was built to become an heirloom.

Built from solid maple and designed to last for generations, this custom sideboard blends timeless craftsmanship with modern functionality.

Featuring:
• Solid maple construction throughout
• Beautiful natural grain patterns that make every piece unique
• Three spacious drawers for organized storage
• Two cabinet compartments with adjustable shelving
• Soft-close drawers and doors
• Durable finish that highlights the warmth and character of the wood

We love the figured maple grain that creates movement across the doors, drawer, and top, giving this piece a character that simply can’t be replicated by manufactured furniture.

This is where great furniture starts, not in a factory, but in a workshop where everything is crafted with thought and intention!

Current project in the works: a solid maple sideboard built for strength, longevity, and clean, intentional joinery. Every cut, layout line, and clamp matters at this stage. this is what determines how the final piece feels and performs.

No shortcuts. Just patience, focus, and getting everything perfectly square.

Still early, but it’s already taking shape. Stay tuned for the transformation 👀

Packed and shipped my first Etsy order today.

It took months to get to this point, figuring everything out, second guessing myself, and wanting everything to be perfect.

I was honestly pretty stressed getting it ready 🙃 but the moment I dropped it off, I just felt excited.

Still a long way to go, but this felt like a big step.
