When your teenager asks for something for teenage skin thangs…you can’t disappoint! Kept it simple and mild (sometimes less, is more) she’s my biggest critic so I know she will give me the bad before the good, and tell me it doesn’t work before all of a sudden it’s miraculously worked, the jar is empty and she needs more 🤣 And knowing she will probably see this…love ya kid! ☺️ Keeps m on my toes, that one. 🙃

If Vicks V***r Rub went for a walk in the boreal forest and came back emotionally regulated - it would be this. 🌲

Mullein + Spruce to soothe, warm, and help you breathe a little deeper without that menthol punch.

I tried to keep the scent as grounding as possible, and I feel like I achieved it. A mix of Spruce & Mint, with a slight citrus finish, it’ll be the new go-to in this house when that chest/lungs and cough starts aching. 🌬️

*Each cream/salve goes through multiple steps prior to coming to fruition. First, herbs are infused into oils to extract their constituents, typically for ~6 weeks. If I did not harvest myself, I have sought out a like minded forager and only use the highest quality herbs I can find. Then, selected and crafted into small batches to ensure freshness and care into each jar. 🫙 Ingredients used for infusing and crafting creams and salves are of the highest quality I can find for its purpose, including local beeswax from local beekeepers. 🐝

Well, it’s that time of the year. Where the dry air and crisp wind just wanna wreak havoc on our skin 🌬️ ❄️

Enter, Calendula + Goldenrod Cream:
Because not every problem needs to be exfoliated, scrubbed, or “powered through.”

Some things just heal faster when you stop poking them. 🌼

A traditional blend used to calm inflammation, support tissue repair, and help irritated skin return to balance - gently. ☀️

🐶 Recently used Calendula oil on my pooches stomach as she’s had some skin irritations. And within a couple of days the inflammation had greatly reduced.

Consists of a Simmer Pot, A couple pocket rocks, and a Yarrow and Goldenrod Salve.

Think of the salve as the boundary keeper for your skin. Can help with rashes, cuts, scrapes, burns, other skin irritations etc. Yarrow holding the boundary, while Goldenrod provides the “umph”.

Rocks are storytellers, and this one in particular was helping to finish hammer in a lesson that I’ve been learning the last few years. And that is, that it is through a balance of both our inner fire and compassion that true inner peace is found. We can’t force our way through things, nor can we softly move our way through things. Sometimes we need fire, and sometimes we need softness, and balancing both can be a fine dance. Holding extremes can be difficult, especially in these times we are currently living. ☯️ Remember to give yourself some grace. Allow that inner fire rage, while also allowing that inner river to flow - this etched quartz from Mexico gives me underwater volcano vibes - it has an inner core that almost exists as the “space in bewteeen”. The void where all things meet in stillness. A reminder that while the outer world is being etched and reworked with the chaos, that our inner world is where we can find that calm in the storm. 💦 🔥 🌋 Quartz w/ Mexican Fire Opal

🌎 Impact 🌎

I love when I’m able to find ways to incorporate impact into purchases. I had been following this company for a while, however, unsure of the direction I wanted to take with this - I was unsure if it was worth the investment.

Unrefined Shea Butter is a powerhouse for our skin filled with moisturizing benefits, anti aging properties and filled with antioxidants and vitamins. Having experimented with both refined and unrefined, the consistency of unrefined shea butter and its feel on the skin is unmatched.

This shea butter is in a whole category all on its own. You could almost feeeeeel the love when I opened the box, and the shea butter is a delightfully delicate, silky texture, with way less smell than other butters I have tried (for experimenting purposes 😆)

This particular brand of shea butter supports Ghanaian women who craft these beautiful products by hand. I love when value meets real world impact, in ways that are mostly unseen. However I am grateful to these women who have honed their skills, as you can tell the deep respect they have for their craft in the beautiful product before me. 🙏🏼
