The last page of my 2024-25 Stitching Journal is called:
COMING HOME
Inspired by the drive into the farmyard by way of the back road...checking the crops along the way and feeling blessed.

Thank you all for joining me as I shared my journal project. Your comments are all very much appreciated.

I know the stitching projects I've been sharing in the past year or so are quite a switch from the woodworking and painting things I've done in the past but I love trying new things - gotta mix it up a bit. So many projects - not enough time!

We never tired of seeing this beautiful Vermilion Flycatcher in our yard in February and March of 2025 in Arizona.

Today I'm sharing two collage pieces done from collected fabric scraps. No scrap is ever too small to be considered!
- I chose a bold red bird so she'd pop against the pretty floral fabric, the end result looking as though she's perched in a window.
- The brown and gold fabric collage was done just because I love the colours .
