The Art Space proudly introduces week long half-day workshops! For the month of July, we will focus on completing one major project each week. Artists will bring home something they can be proud of. WEEK 4 is Beginner’s Anatomy, July 27th to 31st - Take your people drawing skills to the next level with this beginner’s guide to drawing people. If you struggle with drawing people, now is your chance to step up your skills! By the end of the week you will have a general understanding of how to draw people, hands, faces, and more. Perfect for making comics, drawing more accurate portraits, or building your portfolio for applying to art school. Recommended for Teens 12 and up. WEEK 3 is Comic Making, July 20th to 24th - Learn what it takes to make a professional comic page from start to end, by the end of one week. Do you love comic books and storytelling? Let artist Zen Rankin guide you through the world of storytelling and comics page making and by the end of the week you’ll have a professionally-constructed comic page you can be proud of! WEEK 2 is Tabletop Game Making, July 13th to 17th - Design and assemble a functioning tabletop game in 5 days, with an emphasis on fun! Have you always wanted to design a game that’s fun and playable? Now’s your chance! Zen Rankin will guide you through the process of what makes a game fun, and how to assemble a tabletop game by the end of the week. Using a wide variety of materials you will take home will take home a complete working game. All materials included! Recommended for Kids, Youth, and Teens ages 8 and up. The Art Space proudly introduces week long half-day workshops! For the month of July, we will focus on completing one major project each week. Artists will bring home something they can be proud of. WEEK 1 is Miniature Dioramas, July 6th to 10th - This 5 day crafting workshop is for serious crafters only! Make an elaborate diorama by week’s end. Zen Rankin will assist serious crafters through designing and assembling elaborate miniature dioramas by the end of the week. Using a wide variety of materials and crafting techniques you will take home will take home an ultimate finished masterpiece. All materials included. Recommended for Kids, Youth, and Teens ages 8 and up. Sibling discounts are available, and parents are welcome to attend—please inquire if interested.
