Thank you Ash Lee Jefferson Elementary School for accepting my donation of almost 100 fidget toys for their school. Thank you to Sarah Marsh for helping me with the delivery! They will be placed in classrooms for students to use and given to students who need them.

Meet Sky and Sage Snail!
Life is a marathon not a sprint and these two embrace a slow pace, love misty mornings and they “shell-ebrate” that the journey is just an important as the destination!

Claim to Fame- Snails have thousands of sharp teeth on a tongue like structure called a radula! The tongue is truly mightier than the sword!
Party Trick- Snails are a key player in the decomposition process and help to recycle nutrients! Reduce, Reuse, Recycle ♻️
Fun Fact- There is no way to tell whether a snail is male or female because most snails are both!

Fidget Friend of the Day! Day 28!
Meet Sasha Squirrel! A professional forager and part-time tree dweller. Fluent in chitters and stomps. Sasha is always on the go. Her hobbies include: aggressively guarding a food stash,
pretending to bury nuts to confuse onlookers,
running in pointless, frantic circles and
judgementally staring into windows!

Claim to Fame- Squirrels front teeth never stop growing so she is always ready to take a bite out of life!
Party Trick- In the fall parts of the squirrels brain (hippocampus) grows to help them remember where they stored their food!

Fidget Friend of the Day! Day 27!
Meet Willow and Winter Whale Shark! These beauty’s are known for being lovers not biters, whale sharks are filter feeders. This means that they swim with their mouths open to catch small creatures to eat! Willow and Winter have a bit of the wanderlust and love to travel far and wide. These deep sea queens each have their own distinct pattern of spots and strips, like fingerprints! This makes it easy to tell them apart in the wild.

Claim to Fame- Whale sharks have tiny teeth that cover their eyeballs. 👀
Likes- Plankton
Favourite Joke- Where do whale sharks go on vacation? …….. Fin-land!

Meet Tali and Tatum Triceratops! Don’t let the horns fool you, these ladies are all love! Tali and Tatum are gentle giants who love long walks through prehistoric fern fields, remember keep an eye out for our meat eating foe……self preservation is a must ladies! These dinosaurs are connoisseurs of all things leafy!🥬 You will find find them at the salad bar!

Claim to Fame- Triceratops have a bony collar known as a frill that served many purposes! Talk about adornment!!

Fidget friend of the day! Day 25!
Meet Charlie the Chick! Talk about a spring chicken, Charlie (short for Charlotte) is known for being a tad “egg-centric” and for ruffling a few feathers in her flock! She is very funny and has been known to wing it and tell a great yolk should the need arise.

Dislikes- Foxes
Claim to Fame- Chickens are the direct descendants of dinosaurs! 🦕 🦖

Fidget friend of the day! Day 24!
Meet Beau and Bella Bee! This pair is always up to something! Never ones to sit around the hive, these two are always out on the town! Lovers of pollen and adventure, bees can visit between 50 and 100 flowers on each foraging trip. Beau and Bella love to dance for their hive mates as a way to give directions to find food! We love a generous couple.

Favourite Drink- Coffee! Studies have shown that caffeine improves the memory and learning capabilities of bees!
Claim to Fame- Bees have an amazing sense of smell and can be trained to detect bombs, explosives and other chemicals.

Meet Opal the Otter! Opal is a master of all things aquatic, creator of cuteness and “fishy snack” enthusiast! A rock wielding chef extraordinaire, Opal is here for all your shellfish opening needs! You won’t be hungry with this queen around.

Favourite Pastime- hand holding and back floating!
Claim to Fame- Otters are one of the few animals that use tools!
Favourite Joke- What do you call an otter with a fever? …………A Hotter!

Fidget friend of the day! Day 22!
Meet Brooklyn and Bennett Butterfly! Talk about butterflies in your stomach this dynamic duo brings all the warm heart fuzzies! Brooklyn and Bennett have talents galore, including being able to taste with their feet (Careful where you land guys!) and having the ability to fly faster than a horse can gallop!

Party Trick- Telling Time! Butterflies have a unique ability to tell time and track the position of the sun. The time-keeping cells are in their antenna! This pair won’t be late!
Claim to Fame- Playing Dead! Butterflies may not be good in a crisis! If in trouble don’t call them….they have been known to play dead to get themselves out of trouble!

Fidget friend of the day! Day 21!
Meet Cooper Caterpillar! This gym bro loves to bulk up and is all about the gains! Caterpillars have over 4000 muscles and eat their way to 10,000 times their hatching weight before they pupate. Way to get those macros Cooper!
Cooper is also all about the transformation, change doesn’t scare him!

Dislikes- Strong smells, you won’t see him fighting for the peppermint tea!
Fun Fact- He is a lover not a fighter, with 5 beating hearts!
