Cooking classes are baaaack!!

After a summer break, Peaz in a Pot Cooking Classes are back this September, and I’m so excited to welcome kids and teens for a fresh season of cooking, learning, and having fun together! My Back-to-School, Back-to-Cooking classes will feature delicious recipes that are perfect for busy school days and cozy fall evenings. Along the way, students will continue building kitchen confidence, learning new cooking techniques, practicing food safety, and becoming more independent in the kitchen. As always, classes are hands-on, social, and all about giving kids and teens the chance to cook, create, taste, and have fun, while making food they’ll be proud to share at home. I can’t wait to get everyone back in the kitchen this September!

Summer on a plate. ☀️🍓

Some of the few fantastic dishes we prepared in our cooking classes this school year: beautiful berry galettes using fresh seasonal berries and a flavourful shrimp curry from scratch. Summer flavours were on the menu this week! We cooked up a fragrant kofta curry with basmati rice, mixed up classic floats, and finished with buttery cookie puff pastries. Not a bad way to spend an evening 🥰

Another fun night in the kitchen! 👩🏻‍🍳

Last night the kids learned how to make a giant cookie and chicken chow mein from scratch, and they did such an amazing job. I love seeing their confidence grow in the kitchen each week while they try new skills, flavours, and recipes. ❤️

Thanks to my super student Grayson for putting this together! So much fun was had last week with some super yummy creations. We rolled up our sleeves for plum crumble, and meatball dumplings🧑‍🍳😋
