Just milling up some 1×20's today. That's a weird dimension to say! I had an order for some wide plank pine. A little sourcing and found some gorgeous White Pine, salvaged from a tree care company. This log came from Norwood area, some of the farthest distanced wood I have used, since most lumber I produce is from logs from right here in Prince Edward County. Finished sizes of these wide planks are 1 1/4" x 20". Huge!

To my small business, micro business and solopreneur friends, if you have not heard this podcast yet, you NEED to listen! Cheyanne gives a local, Canadian context and has a perspective that applies directly to small business. As a woodworker and sawyer, I know wood, but until I had an opportunity to work with Cheyanne, I had no idea about marketing. For small business in Canada, this is the best listening you will find! I highly recommend!
