Beeswax emits negative ions that clean the air around you. Unlike petroleum-based paraffin waxes, beeswax is used in its original state. There is no bleaching or hydrogenating. Beeswax is the purest and most natural o
f all waxes with the least processing and no additives. Beeswax is non-allergenic and is best for those with allergies or sensitivities to scents. All of our 100% pure beeswax candles will develop bloom over time. The whitish film is an indicator of purity and is cherished by candle connoisseurs. Bloom is defined in the Merriam Webster’s Dictionary as a “state or time of beauty, freshness and vigor.” Fully developed bloom will sparkle beautifully in the light and look like crystals or snowflakes. Beeswax candles that have been blended with other waxes will not develop bloom. If you prefer a polished look, simply buff with a soft cloth, nylon stockings or cheesecloth. Soy candles have a longer burn time because of their lower melting point of 118 degrees. They are safe to touch and easily cleans up with warm water and soap. Soy wax requires less oxygen to burn and comes in larger quart-sized vintage mason jars, mini retro jelly jars, pillars, votives and tea lights. Scented or non for your preference.
