Work is EXTRA fun when I get to craft! I’m making fairy wands to sell at the Ladybug Fair in Cawston (and other local markets). In addition to the 🍄 mushrooms and 🐞 ladybugs, I also have strawberries 🍓 and flowers 🌺. I’m really enjoying working with felt and embroidery stitching— What else should I make?!

We’ll be there selling fairy wands and fun art & craft kits!

Welcome Spring and all growing things and people too! We've have 15 Vendors signed up and some top notch local Wineries will be there as well as mystics, munchies, music, free Somatic Yoga Dance class, face painting and games for the kids. Wine and a beer garden all on the beautiful shaded grounds of the Cawston Community Hall! Still room for more Vendors. Come join the Fair! See you there!😎🕺💁🧚🧑‍⚖️🌷🌺💥

Today’s Small Business Week feature is
Now I might be a little biased because this treasure trove of creativity is owned by one of my very favourite people, but the Hub is THE place for art and craft supplies in the Similkameen and South Okanagan! Karen, our local craft supply maven, has curated a diverse range of supplies for makers of all stripes. And if she doesn’t have something you need but thinks she should, she will do her very best to bring it in!
The Hub also lives up to its name with drop in craft Mondays, birthday party and meeting packages, and a variety of art and craft workshops for makers of all ages and abilities.
No more driving for hours or spending money on shipping fees and dubious quality supplies online. We have Similkameen Maker’s Hub!
