I realized I didn't actually have to do these things...so I stopped! 😂

One thing I genuinely love about painting what I love is that nobody's handing me a rulebook. I can paint the subjects that light me up, in the colors that feel true, for the people who get it.

And if you're someone who sees a donkey or a weathered fence line and thinks "yes, that", say hi in the comments. 🤎

The fun part about scarves (wild rags, in the western world) is that I get to design twice! The first step is creating the painting. The second is busting out my digital skills to create a wearable piece.

Each of my scarves features one painting. The scarves have the title on them to connect them back to the original artwork.

This is my official application to Villager Puzzles | Kelly | Support Women Artists 2027 Artwork Search!

Friends, you may have seen Villager puzzles in retail stores, but did you know they support Canadian women artists by using their artwork on puzzles? Win-win. And the puzzles are beautiful.

Personally, I think we could use some Canadian prairie farm and ranch art on a puzzle, but I could be biased 😉🤣
