Well, that was a challenge!
This bag pattern is definitely one I would classify as needing an advanced level of sewing skill purely for the complexity of the design. But I had a bit more difficulty putting it together as I found the instructions to be a little vague in a couple of places. I would have also liked to see a few more detailed pictures of the more difficult seam piecings.
All in all, it took me 3 days, reading and re-reading the pattern multiple times, and MANY coffee/snack breaks to get to the finish line on this one. But I persevered! π And π―% do not regret taking the extra time and effort to make the patchwork panel on the front pocket π. And I learned a few things on this first attempt that I think will make the second version even better.π€
Despite my difficulties, I'd say this pattern is a winner. I love the sling style, loads of pockets, and the lightweight feel. Perfect for trekking to my favourite coffee shops! β
