Eggs are delicious, economical, and a great source of protein!

Give them an Asian twist➡️ I usually have them instead of meat when I go to my in laws for lunch or supper (Vietnamese household).

Serve them with Thai soup, pad Thai, a poke bowl, or simply as a snack.

INGREDIENTS

6 to 8 eggs
1/2 cup water
1 cup soy sauce or tamari
2 finely chopped green onions
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
1 large tablespoon of our Thai blend
1 large tablespoon of your choice of sweetener
Sesame seeds to taste

DIRECTIONS

Place the eggs in a pot, add water to cover the eggs, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook for about 8 minutes for soft-boiled eggs.

Mix all the marinade ingredients together. Set aside.

Once the eggs are peeled, place them in the marinade and marinate for a few hours.

You can also use it as a sauce in a poke bowl.

A tasty soup to ward off the cold 🥶

We have a secret ingredient : Lupin flakes!

A legume that is very low in carbohydrates but high in protein.

We add it to our Italian vegetable soup to boost the protein content 😃

INGREDIENTS:

Vegetables you have in your refrigerator or freezer.

Here they used zucchini, onions, celery, carrots, and broccoli.

1 liter of chicken broth

1 cup of tomato sauce

2 cups of water

2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped

1 cup of lupin flakes

2 tablespoons of "Italian" or "Spaghetti" seasoning mix

Salt and pepper

If you have a small piece of Parmesan rind lying around in the freezer, you can add that too ❤️

Simmer everything until the vegetables are tender.

Enjoy!🧡

Les flocons de lupin !



Une légumineuse très faible en glucides, mais haute en protéine.

J’en mets dans ma soupe aux légumes à l’Italienne pour ajouter une bonne dose de protéine 😃



INGRÉDIENTS:

Légumes que tu as dans le frigo ou dans ton congélo optimal.

Pour ma part j’ai mis, des courgettes, oignons, céleris, carottes, brocolis.

1 litre de bouillon de poulet

1 tasse de sauce tomate

2 tasses d’eau

2 gousses d’ails hachées finement

1 tasse de flocons de lupin

2 c. à soupe du mélange « Italien » ou « Spaghetti »

Sel et poivre

Si tu as une petite croûte de parmesan qui traîne dans le congélo, tu peux aussi l’ajouter ❤️

Laisser mijoter le tout, jusqu'à ce que les légumes soient tendres.
