It’s been a journey of love renovating and refurbishing enough to make it cosy and comfortable while still maintaining all the character and charm of days gone by.

Just under 1.5 acres with heritage apple trees, peach, pear, & cherry trees, blueberry, gooseberry & currant bushes all producing fruit, large south facing veggie garden, a tiny beach and wharf just 5 minutes walk down the street, and a fully independent guesthouse with its own laundry and parking, that we’ve rented out furnished now being used as an in-law suite; it’s been a dream come true for us!

Leaving tomorrow morning to visit kids in Vancouver whom I haven’t seen in a year and a half which is just way too long for me. Combined with all the family stuff going on here at home, I’ve been challenged in a way that I’m finding difficult to recover from. My sincere apologies for not being as present at markets or completing orders. I’m hopeful that after a few weeks with my grownup babies, I’ll be back with some renewed energy and ready to take on the busy fall market ❤️

Very sad news. Only met Jillian twice and both times she was so warm and generous with her time, humour and gorgeous kitty. Some people just touch you deeply, even in the smallest of interactions. Rest well 😞.

I am devastated to say that I have lost my partner in life. On Saturday, June 27, Jillian Popplow passed away from heart complications.

A Celebration of Life will take place at Heritage Brewery this Saturday from 2 - 6 pm.
I may not respond to people for a while, but please share your love for Jill and share your stories.

The shop, with the help of friends, will reopen in a few days. We will have a book for people to share their stories about and their love for Jill.

Not originally on our schedule but I’m headed out of town to see my kids in BC for a few weeks so we thought it would be fun to go back to Liverpool for Privateer Days this Saturday from 10-1!

Our last market for the month of July will actually be Canada Day in Lockeport at the firehall so if you can’t make it to Liverpool, hope you can come out for the awesome party that Lockeport puts on ❤️.

Happy Father’s Day to all the incredible dads out there, to the ones we’re with and the ones who’ve left us and whom we miss with every fibre of our being ❤️.

To my darling Ken, the best stepfather to my children anyone could ever wish for, working hard to transform one of the last spaces in our home he hadn’t fixed yet, love you to the moon and back. Our world has been so much better with you in it!
