- Advocate for stronger environmental protections and eco-restoration projects
Please feel free to share this Graphic Recording that I have created to complement the recent Métis Nation of Ontario Species at Risk Turtle Information Session.
This is a creative practice that I really LOVE and want to continue holding space for even as I transition to becoming a first-time mama in the fall. Volunteering in a small way to support teams working on education and advocacy, has been such a great way to lean more deeply into land-based learning, integrate teachings and intentional action into everyday life, and also think more about how I plan to share ideas of stewardship with my son in future.
I hope that my work continues to honour everyone in the room, and the shared vision for safeguarding species at risk..
I Truly appreciate everything the MNO team and their many collaborators are working on in relation to supporting species at risk today – Thank you, I appreciate you // Kinanâskomitin. A special thank you to Michelle Correa, Robyn Rumney, Lindsay Rogers, and Jackie Litzgus for coordinating this info session and for the opportunity to continue leaning into my visual practice and creative expression.
This graphic was created with our Métis community in mind as the audience. However, this important information is valuable to share with all who feel the call to practice good stewardship.
