I had the amazing honour of creating some of the decor for a good friends wedding yesterday! It’s kept me busy for a few months but the outcome was stunning! 4 macrame chandeliers and an 8 foot long wall hanging for the head table along with my dad making the wedding arch and card box ❤️ what a beautiful wedding it was!

We will be making macrame plant hangers on Saturday April 22nd from 4pm-7pm at Quest Art School in Midland! Go to their website www.questart.ca to get your ticket! Members price is $25 and non members price is $35. At the end of the workshop you will go home with your very own plant hanger along with a plant and plant pot!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you all for making 2022 such a great year for me! To everyone who purchased from me, signed up for a workshop, liked or shared my posts or supported me in any other way I love you all!

I have my Quest workshop coming up this week that I’m super excited about, and I’m finishing up a few of your orders. But once I’m done, I will be taking a break from orders for the holidays until January 15th. I need a break (I find it hard to say that sometimes lol).

I can’t wait to see what 2023 has in store! Happy holidays everyone and thank you thank you thank you!

Willow North Shop

My name is Nicole and I am the owner of Willow North Shop, operating under Willow North Events. Our shop is a father daughter team. I make all of the macrame decor and my father Walter makes all of our wood decor. Walter has always been into woodworking, but his talents really came to light when he handcrafted all of the decor for my rustic wedding. Every piece that he makes is from 100% reclaimed Ontario wood. He enjoys making candle holders, cutting boards, coasters, charcuterie boards, dessert stands and more. After planning my own wedding, I realized that I wanted to get into event planning as a career. In doing so, I realized that having beautiful rustic decor available for my clients was a great feature and lots of people were searching for unique Ontario made home and event decor. I also became passionate about macrame and creating awesome boho chic decor that can be used in events or at home. Seeing that other people were enjoying our creations, we decided to bring our two talents together and create Willow North Shop. At this time we have an Etsy page (www.etsy.com/ca/shop/willownorth) and an instagram account (@willownorthshop) to display our work. All of our pieces are unique, handmade and made with love!
