The last item I refinished was the staircase in our home about 15 years ago. I search everywhere to find quality furnitur

e and I hand paint them in neutral tones and occasionally in more bold tones to add a pop of color to a space. Each of the pieces I work on are pieces that I would have in my own home. I figure if I love them, you might too. RESTYLED FURNITURE

It has been a pleasure to have met so many of you (and some of your family members and friends and pets!) and it’s been an honor that you chose me to restyle your cherished antique and vintage pieces -- some of which have been in your families for years. But restyling furniture is a hobby for me and unfortunately I'm unable to take on any custom work for the foreseeable future. I will however, still be working on furniture and listing the pieces for sale on Facebook Marketplace and other selling sites. And I will continue to publish showing newly available furniture first on my business page, before listing any pieces on any selling sites. Thank you all for your continued support. I just picked up this brown set of vintage mid century modern bedside tables and can't decide on a color. They can really be restyled in any color or paint wash, but since I can't decide what to do, I thought I'd ask you all. What do you think? Pure White? Antique White? Antique White with French Toile Images? Grey? or Charcoal? Or another color I haven't shown here?

Look what happens when you take a vintage secretary desk from the 1980's, that was originally designed as a place to deal with correspondence, pay bills and provide a place for document storage, and you paint it in an antique white low VOC decorative paint and add classic and timeless French Toile images that depicts a repetitive pattern of country life, nature and mythology. It goes from simply being a functional piece of furniture to being a fabulous piece of furniture that can be used as an accent piece in your living room, bedroom or your home office!

Thank you to everyone who responded to my previous post with respect to me asking for customer feedback on which finish people preferred on the vintage secretary desk I was working on -- the plain shabby chic finish like in the photo on the left -- or the shabby chic finish with french toile images -- like in the photo on the right.

Just to let you all know the shabby chic desk with the French toile images received the most votes, and it wasn't even a close call at 11 to 3.

I'm currently taking a break from working on my favorite style of secretary desk because I can't decide whether to restyle it in a plain shabby chic style -- like in the photo on the left -- or whether to embellish the shabby chic desk with french toile images -- like in the photo on the right. So I'm asking for your help. Which finish do you prefer? The tables have been sanded, primed and painted by hand with premium quality decorative furniture paint, embellished with florals and sealed for protection. And the drawers have been treated with lemon verbena furniture wax which not only moisturizes the wood, but also smells lovely.
