✨Scentsy wax tips ✨
🧼 The #1 Rule: Always Start Fresh!
✨Remove Old Wax Completely: When you notice the scent is gone, use a clean-up method
✨Keep the Dish Clean: A clean dish ensures the new wax heats efficiently, releasing the maximum fragrance.
🛠️✨ Wax Removal Methods✨
✨The Cotton Ball Method (For liquid wax): Place 2-3 cotton balls or a couple of paper towels into the melted wax pool. They will quickly soak up the liquid wax. Then, you can simply toss them in the trash.
✨The Freezer/Softening Method (For solid wax): Turn the warmer on for just 5-10 minutes to let the edges of the wax soften and lift away from the dish. Turn it off, then gently slide the solid wax disc out in one piece.
💨✨ Maximize Scent Strength (Scent Throw)✨
✨Use the Recommended Cubes: Check your warmer dish—Scentsy usually stamps a number on the bottom of the dish to indicate the maximum recommended number of cubes (often 2-4) to use without overflowing.
Rotation is Key: If you use the same scent for several days, you can become "nose blind"
Try rotating between 2-3 different fragrances so your nose can reset.
📦✨ Storage and Longevity✨
✨Store Properly: Keep your Scentsy bars in a cool, dark place, and lay them flat. Heat and direct sunlight will cause the fragrance oils to degrade
🧼✨ Wax Cleanliness and Rotation✨
✨Never Mix Old with New: Once the fragrance oils have completely dissipated, the remaining wax is just a waxy base that will dilute your new, fresh cube. Always start with a clean dish.
✨Use the Cotton Cleanup Method: drop 2-3 cotton balls or a dedicated Scentsy Cotton Cleanup pad into the melted wax. It will quickly soak up the liquid wax, which you can then toss in the trash.
🌡️✨ Warmer Use and Placement✨
How you run your warmer affects how well the scent disperses.
✨Know Your Warmer's Capacity: Check the dish of your warmer; the recommended number of cubes (usually 2-4) is often stamped beneath the Scentsy logo. Using too much wax can sometimes affect the temperature and overflow, while too little might not provide enough scent throw for the room.
✨Match Warmer to Room Size: Use Mini Warmers (typically 2 cubes) for small spaces like bathrooms, hallways, or offices. Use Standard Warmers (typically 3-4 cubes) for larger living areas or open-concept spaces.
✨Keep it Draft-Free: Avoid placing warmers directly next to an open window, air vent, or fan.
✨Mix Your Scents: Don't be afraid to combine cubes from two different Scentsy Bars to create your own unique custom fragrance blend!
