Wishing a happy birthday and work anniversary to Meghan today! 🎉

Meghan was the first person that I brought on to help me FIVE years ago today (on her birthday, which she didn’t tell me until the very end of her first work day). She has been with me since Knotty Design Co. was in the basement of our home, and she has seen me and this business at our best and absolute worst moments (and has still stuck around).

She is a laser wizard, ideas-on-post-it-notes artist, master of sorting out small order parts, true-crime and random fact expert, and always knows what to say to lighten the mood during a crisis.

If you have placed an order with us in the last five years, she most likely helped make it for you. I probably don’t tell her often enough how appreciated she is, so I wanted to make sure I say it today.

And that’s a wrap on our 2026 Mother’s Day season! We hope you had the best weekend celebrating the wonderful moms, grandmas, and mother figures in your lives! I had a great Sunday, enjoying breakfast and visiting with my family.

Our Mother’s Day collection will remain online because they make great gifts for other occasions as well, and many of them can be easily updated to celebrate Father’s Day.

As always, thank you for the support during the Mother’s Day season. Whether you shopped, purchased digital files, or engaged on social media, we appreciate you and couldn’t do it without you!

Here is what is on the agenda for us this week that you may want to know about:
♥️ Finish uploading our new teacher gifts, they are almost all added to the shop, and I will let you know when we have fully launched
♥️ Finish up a few new things we have upcoming for Father’s Day, these should be up by Sunday
♥️ Send out mock ups for custom order requests. If you have been waiting to hear back from me, this is the week! We are nearly booked for custom requests for the month of May so please reach out if you’re planning to. Please note that this DOES NOT include the hundreds of personalized products we have available on our website already.
♥️ Change our seasonal display wall in the store front from Mother’s Day to teacher and Father’s Day

Wishing Savana a happy work anniversary today!

She has been with Knotty Design Co for two years, and we are so lucky to have her. She’s the one behind the scenes making sure your orders are packed up with care and helping bring so many of our products to life.

Her reliability and calm presence keep everything running smoothly (especially during the chaos of busy seasons when I am panicking all day about how we are going to do it all 🙃).

Savana, we appreciate you so much and are so grateful for everything you do. Happy two years!

It feels like the Mother’s Day season just started, and somehow the date is already under four weeks away!

Our photo magnets have been a best seller again this year, and we are excited to see that our customers are loving some of the new styles. This one in particular has been a favourite. Your photo is printed directly onto the magnet so you don’t have to try to achieve the perfect crop on your own, and it’s ready for gifting as soon as it arrives to your mailbox ♥️
