Golden Crispy Oven Fried Chicken 🍗✨

🛒 Ingredients:

8 bone-in, skin-on chicken drumsticks or thighs

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon dried thyme

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup plain breadcrumbs

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 large eggs

½ cup milk

½ cup melted butter

👩‍🍳 Directions:

Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with foil and lightly grease it.

Prepare the chicken by patting it dry with paper towels.

In one bowl, mix flour, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and thyme.

In another bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.

Coat the chicken by dipping each piece into the egg mixture, then into the flour mixture. Press gently so the coating sticks well.

Pour melted butter onto the prepared baking sheet. Place coated chicken on top, turning once to lightly coat the bottom in butter.

Bake for 35–45 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden brown and crispy and the chicken is fully cooked.

For extra crispiness, broil for 2–3 minutes at the end. Watch closely.

Garnish and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce and a side of veggies or mashed potatoes. Enjoy!
