Sashiko! I would really like to see a full class this Saturday. Unlike classes offered by others, this one teaches you the history and traditional stitches with the meanings behind them. Most importantly, it’s FUN and functional, and not a big monetary or time commitment. I learned this in Japan and it’s really more a labour of love than anything. If you’re not able to attend, I sure would appreciate a share! Hope to see you in class 🩷

I’m working on the June schedule and have a question for you all, but here’s the background; for over a year, I’ve been reserving a room at on Dorchester in Niagara Falls. Now, they’re asking for a minimum of 6 people, meaning I’d need at least 5 students to book. My class max is generally 6-8 students depending on the fibre art we’re doing. My question is for students who’ve had classes with me here - did you enjoy learning at Williams? Vote yes or no and DM if you’d like to discuss or please leave a comment - thank you!

Happy long weekend! We’ll be busy in the gardens but wanted to let you know there are a couple of exciting classes coming up, including Boro (Japanese visible mending) and beginner Tunisian crochet. New classes are being added soon - what would you like to see? We’re definitely focusing more on summer makes and beginner classes (think market bags and bucket hats). Hope to see you in class!
