Ashy is upstairs! 🖤🐈‍⬛🩶
1. She’s taking some time to adjust in her fave cat tree.
2. Why my bedroom has a pink glow 💖🐆
3. Cat gate with a blanket over it until she’s comfortable so Poppy doesn’t harass her. The plan is to remove the blanket so they can meet often until aggression subsides from Poppy. They’ve met a bunch of times but Poppy always chases her back down to the basement.
4. Celebrating with a mimosa this morning in the sunshine. I’ve been staying with Ashy in our basement since July. It’s definitely paid off, we’ve come so far with socialization!

We hit a new milestone: PURRING 😭🥰 SOUND UP ⬆️ After 8 months of basement living and more patience than I ever thought I possessed, I can now sit on the dresser beside Ashy’s tree and pet her for ages while she purrs away ❤️🐈‍⬛

Ashy’s 2025 glow up from young underweight feral momma ➡️ spayed indoor kitty 🐈‍⬛

She’s still very skittish but accepts pets when she’s in her cat tree or chair. We play together every night, she’s come a long way with human interaction. I’m still sleeping in the basement with her, but our goal is to get her upstairs and for her and Poppy to be friends 🐱🐱 Currently, Poppy hisses at her and chases her back downstairs 🫠

Shes made so much progress and I’m so proud of her 🖤🩶

Obsessed with this cozy e-reader sleeve I purchased from at the winter market yesterday! 😻

This is the 8th year I’ve hosted this event at ! It was fantastic to chat with so many returning and new makers. It’s been a rough year for small businesses so I was thrilled by the amazing turnout from the local community and beyond. Thank you 🙏

Happy Black Cat Appreciation Day from my sweet feral void 🐈‍⬛

We’ve come a long way from being wild! She barely hisses anymore and she sleeps on my ankles. I still can’t touch her beyond a little nose boop but hopefully one day soon 😻

July 28, 2025: One of the saddest days of my life. My sweetest boy 🖤🐱🤍 I knew the day would come and absolutely destroy me and it did 💔 Tux you were my best friend, my son, my healer, my troublemaker, and my biggest source of joy and comfort for just over 17 years. I was the LUCKIEST cat mum to have you in my life for so long.

After a lengthy battle with kidney disease, you can now rest forever peacefully in your favourite shady spot under the lilac tree 💜

I will love you so much forever Sir Tuxton Longpaws/Tuxicon/Bear/Biggins 😘

Thank you to everyone who has reached out asking how he was doing ❤️ I simply couldn’t answer…
