Did somebody say pillows????

Okay, well it was me.

Remember these fabrics? I LOVED them so much in the quilt that I had to make pillow covers too!

They are finished with a zipper back. Did I mention what a game changer that is? It’s such a nice finish to all the pillow cases that I make now.

These two coordinating covers came in at 18” by 18”

Time to share some Christmas decor!

This is my third and final version of the starlight quilt pattern in a table runner. I made one in the spring, then one for Halloween and now this beauty for Christmas.

I was so excited to put it on display at home that I pulled out ALL the decor about a week before Halloween 😂

SURPRISE!!!

I’ve been secretly working on some Halloween pillow cases 🎃 and guess what? From now on, all the pillow covers that i make will come with a zippered back! It took a long time for me to get over my fear of zippers and I’m so glad I did! It makes such a difference on the closure in the back.

Well I got it all done before the family arrived for turkey dinner! Yay!

This quilt turned out a little bigger than I expected as I kinda winged it 😂 It will make a good throw for the living room.

Next step is to hunt down a flannel backing for this one. It will make it extra cozy. Then I think I’m going to send the quilt off to a long arm quilter who can do some fancy thread work. I’m thinking a snowflake panto or ornaments will be perfect.

It will probably be a few weeks before we see this one finished. Stay tuned!
