Hoof and Hook is now offering custom fly bonnets! Simple, beautiful, and high quality at an affordable price point. I got tired of not being able to find what I wanted in a fly bonnet on the market, so I made it myself! 😉 One of my favourites that I’ve made so far is this gorgeous pretty pink polka dot number 🎀

It’s always a great day when I get to hang out with both the crochet and real life versions of horses I make 🥰 I got to spend some time with Hiccup and Stumpy a few weeks ago and it was so fun!

I’m always done with July’s orders and then have a few things I need to get done in early August before (and I can’t believe I’m already saying this) my CHRISTMAS orders open! 😱😳🎄

I’m away for most of October, so starting my Christmas orders a month earlier this year. Space will be extremely limited! Stay tuned 😃

Exciting news! Hoof and Hook is coming to the Ottawa Summer Tournaments at Wesley Clover Parks for one day only - tomorrow, Saturday, July 4th. I’ll have a selection of handmade crochet fly bonnets, baby loveys, stuffies, stirrup covers, and more available for sale.

For the first time since December, my orders are OPEN again! 🎉🥳

June is already full, but I’m accepting a very limited amount of custom crochet orders for JULY ONLY for the following offerings, including some NEW stuff:

✨ Standard sized custom horses and donkeys (price range $100-$120)
✨ Mini sized custom horses (price range $30-$40)
✨ Custom baby loveys (price range $65-$75)
✨ Custom fly bonnets - ful/WB and cob sized ($70)
✨ Also open to other custom requests like dogs, cats, etc.

Pricing and quotes depend on complexity of the animal’s markings. More complex markings = more time. ☺️

Spaces are reserved on a first come, first served basis and payment is collected in full before I start.

Available for local pickup in Richmond (Ottawa). Shipping available Canada-wide via Canada Post flat rate shipping boxes (~$20-$30.)

Day 1 was a success - met some lovely people and had some great chats about my creations. Even ran into some people I’ve made stuffies for before!

The next chapter of Hoof and Hook is here, and premiering at the Ottawa Dressage Festival this weekend!

I will be there all day Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, with a small selection of pre-made handmade equine goods for sale, including some of my new fly bonnets!

My booth will include:
🤍 horsey baby loveys
🤍 crochet stirrup covers
🤍 show scrunchies - a few different varieties
🤍 fly bonnets (currently only in full/WB size)
🤍 face scrubbies
🤍 dish cloths and wash cloths
🤍 dish towels
🤍 and more!

I will also be accepting a small amount of custom stuffie orders for June and July at the ODF, saving spots for people ordering in person!

Payment at the ODF will be accepted via cash or e-transfer - no card. If you’re a competitor at the ODF, you also have a chance of winning a custom stuffie of your own as I have donated some as prizes 🥰
