A little update from me...
May was an incredibly busy month, both personally and professionally. As many of you know, my baby is heading off to university this fall. For the first time in over 30 years, all of my children will be out of the house, and I'm trying to soak up every moment I can before this next chapter begins.
This year has also brought its share of challenges, including a septic backup, a flood, and a fire, so it's felt like I've been running on high alert for quite some time.
I wanted to thank everyone for their patience as I navigate this transition. If you've been messaging the page, you've likely been chatting with our AI assistant, which has been helping keep things moving while I balance everything happening behind the scenes.
Please note that By Design will be closed July 1st–15th, and I will have very limited access to emails, messages, and social media during that time. I'm taking the opportunity to spend some uninterrupted time with my daughter before she leaves for university.
The good news is that I currently have availability for custom orders, completed signs, DIY kits, and new design requests, so now is a great time to place your order before the summer closure. I'll also be reposting our June class calendar, as we still have a few spots available.
Looking ahead to the fall, I'm excited to be expanding the business with new staff, more vendor markets, more classes, and lots of new products and designs. There are some exciting things coming for By Design, and I can't wait to share them with you!
