Something new is coming to the studio… and I’m pretty excited about it!

I've been working on some new projects and have a few fun classes coming up for September & October.

The Kinusaiga class is something completely new for us, and I'm really excited about it! If you've never heard of Kinusaiga, it's a really cool way of creating artwork using fabric instead of paint. I think you're going to love this one!










There are lots of different options coming up, so whether you're in the mood for something Halloween-y, something fall-inspired, or want to try something completely new, there's a little bit of everything.

MONDAY BRAG POST!!

I thought this would be the perfect project to kick off our NEW Monday Brag Posts!

A few months ago, I met this lovely lady at one of our classes. Shortly after, she ordered this personalized DIY Kit to take home and make with her family.
And look at what they created!!
This turned into a FAMILY PROJECT, and I think they absolutely knocked it out of the park!

I love seeing the pieces we have that YOU turn into family art or projects that you enjoy making. Sometimes even if it is just an escape for a few hours to give yourself some you time.

So, I'm officially declaring Mondays our Monday Brag day!

I have to show you what we're making in our newest workshop!
Kinusaiga-a traditional Japanese textile art technique that transforms small pieces of fabric into beautiful works of art.

Kinusaiga is sometimes referred to as “Japanese fabric painting.” Instead of using paint and a brush, pieces of fabric are carefully layered and tucked into a prepared design to create colour, texture and dimension.

The result is a beautiful piece of artwork that looks almost like a painting — but is created entirely with fabric!

This is something completely different from any class we've offered before!

We're taking beautiful fabrics, layering and shaping them to create a piece of art that looks almost like a painting—but it's made entirely with fabric.

I've been wanting to introduce something new to the studio, and I am SO excited about this one.

Our first Fabric Art Workshop is coming up on Sept 27th, 2pm

If you've never tried anything like this before, don't worry—I'll walk you through the entire project. No artistic experience is needed.
