I have a whole new appreciation for what goes on behind the scenes, and how much work goes into producing a segment that will likely take up less than a minute in the entire movie.

I am not yet able to share the name of the movie, or the company, but, they have their own channel, and they really like cozy, feel-good movies.....and Christmas!...and it sounds kinda like 'ballpark'. ..or 'landmark'......

Full disclosure: what the actor is making on screen isn't something you'd actually pull off on a flameworking torch — that's a different beast of glasswork entirely.

When your friend in the movie biz asks if they can use your studio for a shoot, you say YES.

The scene: a man making something special in glass.
The catch: I had to give the actor a crash course in melting glass — not exactly a 10-minute skill.

He caught on like a house on fire.
Turns out, he really liked it.
More photos to come. 🎬

Wow - you would think I fell asleep at the torch given my last post, but life has a way of pushing my 'melting glass time' aside for other things. That's also the price I pay for having so many creative interests....if it's not glass, it's writing, or photography, or sewing, or baking,,,or just enjoying life. I am so grateful.
