Earlier this year, .bakes reached out to see if I could hand-embroider her wedding dress. She had some reference pictures & a great vision but could not find the perfect dress locally.

I never did such a big project before, but I did embroider on tulle before so I was confident to take on the project. There was already some embroidered details and ornaments on the dress, so Darian & I picked a specific colour palette that would match her accent flowers.

Hand-Embroidered Florals on a wedding suit —

Another fun projects for the books! I’m so grateful Casandra & Jacob trusted me with their vision to hand-embroider the lapels of Jacob’s suit for their wedding day. 🥹 You both look so stunning & I hope you had the most special day. 💖

It was my first time embroidering on a suit. I included a few pictures of the process— It all started with the measurements of the lapels, then a paper sketch. I polished the sketch on Procreate with a picture of the suit provided by the client. We then met up to pick the embroidery thread colours together, to match the bouquet & the tie.

I’d say the most challenging part of this project was making sure the lapels were symmetrical, but it was worth it & I got the technique down now!

I am fully available for larger scale projects in 2026, please reach out if you have some interest in commissions. No ideas are too eccentric. I would love to do more wedding related customization and large embroidery mural installations. ❤️

News is out!!! I was commissioned by to hand-embroider the cover of their new album, Polka Pit.

I’ve been listening to this band for ages, this is a very full circle moment for me ☺️ big thanks to the band for this incredible opportunity. 🫶🏻

First market in my hometown 💜

About last Sunday— I couldn’t imagine a better experience for my first market outside of Ottawa. Big thank you to for having me. Best. Event. EVER! Wholesome community, I’ll definitely be back. 🤞Special thanks to many of my mtl pals for coming and catching up!!! 🥲

For the new faces here— Hi! I’m Hélène. I live in Ottawa. I’m a screen-printer by day, I play a bit of music and I try to learn allllll the crafts on my free time. I’m inspired by the punk/alt scene, memes, retro stuff and nature. Expect a lot of concert videos and work in process in my stories. 😊

It’s kinda ironic I’m finishing this patch while my city is covered up by wildfire smoke. (It’s starting to clear up tho! ✨)
