Painted our ‘new’ (late 1800s) dining room and thought I’d snap some pics of how we’ve been mixing stuff together. Only thing that we’ve purchased specifically for this room other than paint was the chandelier (I am not a vintage purist). We don’t have room for the Hoosier in the kitchen so now it holds serving ware instead of baking supplies.

I’ve always loved exposed brick walls and in our ‘new’ house, we have some in the pantry! it was a porch that was enclosed by the previous owners and we love it, not just for the brick but more practically, that we have a spot for for our freezers, canning supplies, and extra kitchen stuff so near at hand, instead of on multiple floors as in our old house. It feels like real luxury. I grabbed a couple pretty items from the RW inventory to add some colour to the shelves. They may, or may not, find their way back in, but at least not for now.

A rustic farmhouse decor moment. Farmhouse style may have been popular over the last couple of years but I’ve ALWAYS loved authentic antique and vintage farmhouse pieces even as a child attending farm auctions with my dad as a kid. There is something so comforting and real about these kinds of items. Also, I totally bought the teapot because it reminded me of Country Life Vlog videos.
