Joy of Quilting - Long Arm Services Providing custom long arm quilting services to central Vancouver Island.250-616-2490/250-739-2441 We can do any size quilt. Choices are limitless.

We are a small longarm quilting shop with a large Gamill Statler. We charge from .025c/sqin for edge to edge all the way to computer custom work for .04c/sqin. We offer Hobbs 80/20, 100%cotton, 100%wool and Bamboo batting as well as some wide backs. Thread costs are $1.50 bobbin or $6.99 a 1000m spool. We have over 4000 patterns and access to over 100000 more.

This is my last Thimbleberries Quilt. I ran the Thimbleberrie‘s club in Calgary for Sewing world. I loved all things, Lynette Jensen and all of her favourite colours and it was my goal to decorate a whole house in those colours and yet as time went on in circumstances changed, I could just simply just use the fabric in whatever way I could. I’m kind of sad. It’s the last of about five Quilt kits that I had when I started some 25 years ago, but you know the adage it’s never too late.

I think this is a perfect example of how when you are choosing what digitized long arm quilting pattern to use you should counter what is the strength of the Quilt top in this case I was using this liberty fabric, which I couldn’t seem to find anywhere to fit, and decided just to Quilt the piece of itself. I knew I wanted to soften all the sharp points and so therefore, I chose this pattern raindrops which I think just takes it and soften it to a place where it just enhances the whole thing I wanted to see how liberty quilted up since it’s a very new fabric line for me and I absolutely love it.

Health has me organizing my project storage (you know, where you buy the kit with every intention to do it but time gets away from you)
Pattern was purchased at Huckleberries here on the island and the kit was purchased directly from Laura Heine’s shop, paid $155.00US. I am asking $100.00 CDN for both. I am offering it here first. I do not normally sell on here but it’s worth a try.
