This was a 2 class project:
We made the air dry clay from scratch
shaped our volcanoes
Created the landscape and decorations
then let them dry
On the second day we painted, glued, danced and erupted the volcanoes!

Full of creativity, curiosity and problem solving

Creating their own obstacle course, creating a whole world from nothing, and giving their marbles a maze to navigate through.

Today we went fishing and wondered what each of us would find or catch.

We always start with an idea, and discuss all the possibilities then how we want to bring it to life.

Our super skills today:
Depth perception- judging space and distance,

Because the focus is in the PROCESS of creation,

I love seeing them inspire others, support each other and find that self- confidence and pride in their ability to create anything.

It does become contagious in the most beautiful way.

Thank you for supporting me and allowing me to hold the space for your children to explore, create and find their sparks!

I hear this in class a lot,
We do things that are new,
That are different,

I always remind them that we can’t’
because we are still learning,
and we CAN once we try,
but trying more than once
and trying in different ways
and trying even if we don’t want to,
or when we are frustrated.

It’s about changing the concept and the mindset into what is possible even if it seems impossible in the moment ✨

That’s the magic they need ✨

We are in a transition currently between what jobs used to look like, and what they will look like.
We have no idea what ‘jobs’ will be like for our kids when they get there.

I believe this is the best way we can prepare them.
Teach them to think outside the box,
To trust their creativity, to follow what brings them joy, and to invent things through the process of creativity, playing with materials in new ways and continually problem- solve.

To fail and try again ✨ and again ✨ and again
