The home I live in is brick…. And the front door was red. Not a bad color, but when I noticed the paint was chipping in a couple spots & needed a touch up, what was I to do??? I didn’t have the original red paint and so it felt like it was an invitation to choose a color that compliments the beautiful brick home. It’s not black…. It’s called “cracked pepper” and it makes me happy 😊

New project today…. Went to Home Depot yesterday and got supplies. Wood, quick set cement & flower pots. I had no idea how fun that was going to be! Flower pot posts and string lights are up ❤️

I feel almost embarrassed to admit this post. But it may help someone sometime 😊
I’m happy to have figured out why my sewing machine hasn’t been filling up bobbins full for the last while. It was such an easy fix and in all my years of sewing I had never run into this issue before. The little lever with the screw on it, just needed to loosen it and move it a bit so it would fill the bobbin. I’m not sure how over time it got moved. Who cares, it’s fixed 😊 the picture shows how little I was getting on the bobbin and then after I adjusted it. Yay!! Less filling bobbins again.

Came to Ottawa to visit my sister Sarah Dillabaugh and make some aprons 🧵❤️

I love how these nights aren’t just about sewing — they’re about slowing down, learning something new, and enjoying a creative evening together.
