My precious daughter, Piper, is my inspiration for starting Mad M. She is, by far, my greatest adventure and she has given me the courage to embark on a new journey that combines my love of art, my passion to create, and my heart's desire to be at home with my baby as much as possible. As a single mom, doing something I love while being with my daughter is an absolute dream. The idea behind Mad M.
Oiselle came from the name, "Oiselle", that I had initially picked for my baby girl. It roughly translates to "bird" in French. It also grew out of a childhood (and adolescence and adulthood) of tea parties and tea sets and often being lost in magical places that could easily be called "Wonderland". Regardless of the rhymes and reasons behind Mad M. Oiselle, it is my hope that you find creativity, curiosity, and simple happiness in my creations.
