Found a real relic out on the block today! ⚙️ It’s an old high-lead/cable yarding block left behind from decades past, but tell me that skull-like face doesn't look straight out of a sci-fi movie… 👽

Think the thistles in your lawn are annoying? Look at what happens out in the bush! 😳🌱
​Out here in the cutblocks, these bull thistles have all the sun and room they need to become absolute monsters. That shovel sitting on top is almost 2 feet long for scale, making this rosette easily 3.5 to 4 feet wide!
​Have you ever seen one this big? (And yes, they hurt just as much as they look like they do 🩴❌)

Came across this natural shelter tucked right under a giant fallen cedar stump out on the block! 🌲
​It’s completely sheltered from the wind and rain—the perfect spot for a creature to rest or den up.
