I created Everyday Createful not as a way to make money, but as a way to share my love of creating things with others. I am grateful for my creativity and want to honor my inner creator by striving every day to tune into my intuition of what I feel compelled to create today. This page will show these stories and maybe provide some inspiration to you to follow your inner creator. I love supporting
local small businesses and will be promoting them on my page. I believe in quality materials that make me excited to use them and see what they will become. Online shopping for fibres and materials does not spark the same inspiration and energy as feeling and seeing the product in your hands before you buy. I believe that creating something from the heart is very powerful to the creator as well as the recipient. Each creation feels like a child of mine that I release into the world to go and bring happiness to someone (or myself!)
Occasionally I may have items I have created for sale or for donation but this is not my main focus. I may organize group sessions such as free classes or clubs, to connect those of us with similar interests. During these sessions you may meet new people, share your experiences, or maybe even help a new friend with something they are struggling with. It is important to me that the heritage skills of knitting, sewing, and crafting are not lost in this busy world of technology and mass production.
