It’s Monday, October 12th, and the final day of our Seconds Sale and our regular season!
It was a crazy busy day on Saturday, but there’s still some great seconds left on the sale table! There’s also a well stocked shop, and we finally have some extra large mugs in stock. OPEN today from 10-4.

The shop is ready for fall, our last weekend open, and our very 1st SECONDS SALE!
OPEN Saturday October 10th from 10-4
CLOSED Sunday October 11th
OPEN Monday October 12th from 10-4

Our seconds sale is spread over the 2 middle tables, and on the old wooden church pew. I’ve included a picture of the pricing guide so you can know what to expect! The sale is first come, first serve, I won’t be able to hold any pieces.😉
All seconds sales are final.

Not that into seconds? That’s ok, the shop is well stocked with everyone’s favorite Farmstead Pottery originals. See you soon!

So… I just spent the morning cleaning off my work shelves in the studio, and I’m realizing…. I have a lot of “seconds”! What’s a “second”? A pottery “second” is a piece that is flawed in some way, either a glaze problem, a surface crack, somethings a bit wonky about it, etc. These pieces aren’t perfect enough to sell as “firsts”, but they are still functional and lovely and useful, and sold at a discount that reflects the level of the flaws. Some people prefer seconds, as they find they have more character!
So my big question is… should I do a last minute second sale this Thanksgiving weekend? I’ve never sold any of my seconds before.
