What an amazing visit to our nations capital!
The fall colours, the architecture and the Canadian pride surrounded us.
The award winning butter tarts were just yummmm👀
We were so excited to see a tribute to k.d.lang at the National Arts Centre featuring Michael Bublé Jann Arden among so many other amazing Canadian talents. The tribute will be featured on CBC Gem in the next few months. 🇨🇦🇨🇦

Still soaking it all in after celebrating Troy and Kyleigh. So much love, laughter and happy tears all weekend long!

Part of traveling for me, means discovering, meeting and supporting local makers! ✨

This little shop "Crown Flower" is such a gem. They have gorgeous Hawaiian fabrics, handmade bags, hats, lampshades, and pillows, all made in their on-site workroom.

I’m picking up some special fabrics from all around the island to bring home for a new Hawaiian pillow collection. It’s so fun bringing a little bit of Hawaii into my designs! 🌺

If you know me, you know I LOVE colour. 💚
And you also must know that I LOVE traveling to Hawaii. 🌺
Our lower level bathroom needed a bit of updating. We rarely use this bathroom but it is great for guests when they stay.
I searched everywhere for the perfect FUN wallpaper and finally found it! This was a great starting off point for our lakehouse.
I then stumbled upon this quirky vanity but in grey. No grey for me🫣 I had it sprayed with a high gloss green by my furniture painting queen, Carrie.
I had a cabana striped fabric in my showroom that complemented the look and I just needed to add a grosgrain ribbon detail to the top and call it a shower curtain.
Bring in the wicker accents and voila!
A fun bathroom for the guests that reflects who we are!🌺💚
