From the vault - Pe**te Stitch Mini’s

Sometimes I look back at my early beadwork and it reminds me just how far I’ve come. These pe**te stitch mini keychains are a small nod to where my journey started.

This year I stepped out of my pe**te stitch comfort zone and began creating earrings, medallions, bolo ties and pins. I tried new techniques, pushed myself creatively and learned so much. I bloomed in ways I didn’t expect. 🌸

Pe**te stitch will always have a special place in my heart, but exploring other styles helped me fall even more in love with beadwork and the community that comes with it. I’m proud of myself, and I just wanted to share a little piece of my beginning with you. ✨

From the vault - Black Bear Under the Starry Sky
Sometimes I bead something and it immediately goes off to its new home and I forget post a photo of it. That’s the case for this medallion. Beaded with size 10/0 seed beads, featuring resin coated rhinestone stars and a sweetgrass border - this medallion is 4.5 inches in diameter and hangs on a 19inch wrap beaded necklace.

When I first made this bear it sat in my desk for a couple months. The black bear was complete but the background was still blank. Inspired by Starry Night by Van Gogh I finally decided I wanted to create a swirled pattern background in similar colours.
I love this peice, and just wanted to share with you one of my favourite pieces of art 🥰

🍓 New drop at the Wanuskewin Gift Shop on Broadway! 🍓

I just dropped off this strawberry medallion this morning. Beaded using a mix of cuts and sizes with the pebble stitch technique, this piece carries a story of inspiration and connection.

I was inspired by a beader from the UK who embraces the beauty of irregular, non-uniform beads. In homage to her style, I created this strawberry using my own collection of misshaped beads, each one finding its perfect place in the design. This peice is my reminder that beauty often blooms through imperfection. ❤️

✨ I’ll be at Confederation Mall Pop-up Market

Come say hi and check out my new market table setup! I’ve been so excited to show it off! 💛 I’ll have a special on all studs and select keychains, plus some Halloween chips for anyone who stops by! 🎃👻

The Confederation Mall Kids Club will also be having their Halloween Party that day, so it’s a great opportunity to bring the kids for some fun, and treat yourself or grab a little gift (Christmas is right around the corner!).

I had so much fun creating this collection! Mixing polymer clay with my beadwork is like opening the door to endless possibilities! In this collection I went for soft neutrals, gold accents, and florals with a touch of nature. I also threw in a little bit of colourful whimsy 🍂🌾💐🌈

Each pair features rhinestone banding, is edged with bicones and posted on sterling silver posts*.
