I was driving down the highway when I caught a glimpse of the colour and the daisies…… OMG I thought it looked like a cabinet I had built over 30 years ago.

I couldn’t pull over as had to get my mom to chemo. I was feeling panicky as I had to know. I had loved that piece.

I dropped my mom off and raced back. I was stressing as thought it would be sold in that short time.

Before I even pulled up, I could see it was mine. I was over the top excited!!

It was mine. ❤️

This is the second piece in a month that has found its way back to me.

I have been contemplating on whether to host an online cabinet course - maybe this is my sign…🌺

🎄Christmas Bundle🎄 Image transferring is a different process than decoupage -

🎄With decoupage, the image is glued face up in to mod podge and coated again.

🎄Image transfers are placed in to the wet mod podge face down and dried.

🎄The paper is then spray with water and rubbed off in layers.

🎄This takes a bit of time but many of us are obsessed with this technique.

🎄No I wouldn’t use them. The wood is treated with chemicals and the colour may bleed through. They also have all the little holes that would have to be filled.

I mostly add the artwork using the image transfer method - the image is placed face down in to the mod podge and set to dry. The paper is then rubbed off revealing the artwork.

Warning: you may become obsessed with this method.

🍂 If you don’t have any scrap 2x4s …
visit the construction sites. They pay to dump their cutoffs so I am sure they would love to give you some. Always ask first 💕
