A shout-out to nerdypeachstitches for the duck pattern; these little ducks have been a top seller at markets! These ducks are being donated to a local Treatment Centre.💜

Guess who is making 20 ducks? Yes, it is me, Blissful Yogi! These adorable Ducks are going to the new home to cheer up some very special people.❤️

My daughter Angela of Angela Kyllo is taking these to a Rehabilitation Centre, where they will bring a little cheer to individuals who are in treatment. 💜🌼❤️

I feel that when you hold this little duck in your hands, it reminds you of how small and fragile baby ducks are. It is a wonderful way to remember to be gentle with yourself during times of struggle. I am so happy to be donating these little ducks. I know how it feels to go through a mental health crisis. I also know how tragic it is to lose a loved one to addiction. It is a small gesture, but I am hoping this will send a message of love and hope.💜

Okay, fellow yarn lovers… apparently I need a meditation breath before I
about this one.

Inhale…
Exhale…

Because starting October 1st, B.C. is removing the PST exemption on yarn.

Another breath.

Now, I realize yarn may not be essential to everyone… but have you met me?”💚

“For many of us, yarn means creativity, handmade gifts, small businesses, charity projects—and sometimes, quite genuinely, a little bit of healing. It is good for our mental health!!!

With everything already costing more, this is one change I’m really disappointed to see. The NDP think that by getting PST from yarn it will help with the mess our province is in?

Ok even deep breath in and exhale.

So today’s meditation mantra is…
“Yarn. Is. Essential.”

Inhale the yarn…
Exhale the PST…”

“Okay, maybe don’t inhale the yarn.”

Blissful Yogi & Crochet is heading to the Kootenays for the Wild Motherhood Market!

This one feels extra special because I’m going with my daughter and granddaughter — three generations on a little girls’ road trip! ❤️

My crochet goodies are packed, and I’m so excited for a beautiful fall market, lots of laughter and memories along the way.

This sweet little pumpkin turtle makes me smile. My granddaughter Hanna asked for a Pumpkin Turtle, and she loved picking out the yarn colours and eyes! She did such a great job!

There’s something so joyful about watching a few balls of soft yarn turn into a tiny personality of its own.

Crochet continues to be such a peaceful and creative place for me — one stitch at a time. And really… how can you resist that little face? 🥰

This adorable turtle is a pattern by Genna Tatu. I made the top in burnt orange, then shaped it and added the leaf and twilly in velvet.
