Sharing this feels vulnerable—and maybe a little too soon—but it brings me so much joy and is very close to my heart, so here it goes 🧡
I’ve always dreamed of writing and illustrating children’s books, but for the longest time I told myself it would stay just that: a dream. Something for “one day.”

Well… this is day one.

This is the very beginning of a children’s book I’m writing and illustrating called Gus in the Garden, dedicated to my two beautiful daughters.

It’s a story full of love, imagination, and plenty of laughs!

I’ll be sharing as much of the illustration process as I can along the way—starting with these carrots. 🥕🙂
