Hi friends! 🌸

I hope 2025 has been treating you well so far—and if it hasn’t, I want to let you know you’re not alone and that things will get better. 🩷

My post-holidays break was a bit longer than I intended. To be fully transparent, I was stuck in a rut for a while which I can thank many things for… including my 2nd year college workload, the state of the world and some good ol’ seasonal depression. But we marched through that rut and now it’s almost March! (see what I did there 🍀)

If you’re struggling right now—with whatever it may be—I see you. Your feelings are valid. You’re doing great, even though you may not always feel like it. I am rooting for you! 🥰

And so! I’ll be reopening the online store on Saturday and officially taking orders again. Keep an eye out for SALE and CLEARANCE items from my holiday stock, as well as some new designs being added. In the meantime, check out a couple of these custom orders I completed back in December. :)

I thought I was long overdue for an updated “About Me” post, so here it is! 🌸

Hi! I’m Holly, the maker behind Maganda Designs. “Maganda” is a Filipino word for beautiful—a tribute to my mom’s half of the family. I started this business back in 2020 in the midst of the pandemic for something to distract me from everything going on in the world; and to have a creative outlet to make beautiful things.

Some facts about me: I was born and raised in a little town called Strathroy, Ontario and is where I still live today. I am a part-time teller at a local Credit Union and a full-time graphic design student.

I like to call myself a big-time nerd and feline aficionado. I have 2 kitties, Haku & Suki, who I love very much.

Whether you’ve been here since the start or are just following me on my small business journey as of recently, I appreciate you so, so much. I’m so very grateful to have been making stuff for you for the past 4 years and counting, and I’m excited for what’s to come in 2025!
