Enjoyed my first MasterClass with Caplan’s Appliances this past Friday! A great presentation by the inspiring Jane Lockhart followed by a fun cooking experience at the JennAir experience center with Cirillo’s Academy learning from their wonderful Chefs!
What a great day and such a delicious meal! Thank you Caplan’s Appliances for having me! 👩‍🍳 🤍

It’s award season and it’s got me reminiscing about past projects, like this one. Designed in 2012. Still timeless today. 🤍
This condo kitchen holds a special place in my design career—it received an NKBA Honourable Mention in the Kitchen Renovation category in 2012.
Condo renovations often come with challenges, and this one required some creative thinking. To get the lighting centered exactly where we wanted it, we ran the electrical through the crown moulding and created custom ceiling boxes that allowed us to swag the fixtures into the perfect position.
It’s one of those solutions you would never know was necessary when looking at the finished space—and to me, that’s good design.
Looking back at this kitchen 14 years later, I’m proud that it still feels relevant today. The finishes are classic, the details are thoughtful, and the design wasn’t about chasing a trend—it was about creating a beautiful space that worked.
Good design solves problems. Timeless design keeps working long after the trends have changed. 🐝

I still can’t believe it! ✨🐝
I’m incredibly honoured to share that I’ve been selected as 1 of only 100 women to attend the NKBA Women to Women Leadership Conference in New Orleans! 💗
When I started HoneyBee Home Design, I knew I wanted to build something that was truly my own—something rooted in creativity, connection, hard work and a genuine love for this industry. Opportunities like this remind me just how far that leap has taken me.
Over the next few days, I’ll have the opportunity to connect, learn and collaborate with an incredible group of women from across the kitchen & bath industry. To be included among them is something I’m truly grateful for.
I’m heading to New Orleans ready to soak it all in—the conversations, the mentorship, the inspiration and, most importantly, the relationships. Because when women support women, incredible things happen. 🤍
Here’s to continuing to grow, dream bigger and bring everything I learn back home to HoneyBee Home Design. 🐝✨
New Orleans, here I come! ✈️⚜️

Some projects stay with you for reasons far beyond the design. 🤍
I first met this client back in 2008, while working for my previous employer, when I originally measured this very bathroom. Life moved on, years passed, and somehow we found our way back to each other—this time after I had opened Honeybee Home Design.
Eighteen years later, I had the privilege of finally bringing this bathroom to life.
My client decided that this chapter of her life was the time to invest in herself—to create a space that felt beautiful, luxurious and completely her own. And I absolutely loved that.
We kept it warm and transformed the room with a dramatic Cambria quartz shower, timeless finishes and thoughtful details that make everyday routines feel just a little more special.
There is something incredibly rewarding about designing a home for the life you’re living right now—because beautiful spaces aren’t something we should keep waiting for. 🤍
And sometimes, the best projects are the ones that find their way back to you years later.

Who says that little open space above the toilet is just for a Kleenex box? 😉
Use it to display something pretty — like your favourite perfume bottles. ✨
It’s the little details that make a bathroom feel personal and beautifully styled.

A little sneak peek… 👀✨
The renovation may be finished, but the final details are what make a space come to life.
I loved styling this beautiful bathroom before capturing the finished space, and I couldn’t resist sharing a little behind-the-scenes moment.
From the finishes to the fixtures to those final styling touches—this one came together beautifully. 🤍
Full reveal coming soon. ✨

Taking a little time to unplug, recharge, and soak up some summer memories with my family. ☀️💛
I’ll be out of the office until Tuesday, August 4, and will respond to all messages as soon as I’m back.
Thank you so much for your patience and continued support. Wishing you a beautiful long weekend! 🐝✨

Today, the emails can wait. ❤️🍁
I’m spending Canada Day with my youngest—making memories, sharing laughs, and soaking up these years while he’s still little enough to want Mom by his side.
As a first responder family, holidays don’t always look the same. My husband is serving the community, and our older kids are off making memories of their own. So today, it’s just the two of us spending quality time 💛

Wishing you and your loved ones a Happy Canada Day from Honeybee Home Design! 🇨🇦 ❤️
